Precision Manufacturing Since 1985
Four decades of Colorado manufacturing. Long-term customer relationships. People who have been here long enough to know exactly what they are doing.
A Colorado Manufacturing Legacy
Mikron Manufacturing was founded in 1985 in Colorado Springs. From the beginning, the company was built around a straightforward principle: do quality work, be honest with your customers, and relationships will follow.
That approach has produced partnerships that last decades. Some of our customer relationships extend beyond 28 continuous years — not because of contracts, but because buyers who have worked with us know what they will get.
Located on the Colorado Front Range, Mikron has grown from a machine shop into a full precision manufacturing operation, serving OEMs, defense contractors, electronics manufacturers, and industrial customers across Colorado and nationwide.

Two Shops. One Standard of Quality.
We operate distinct Sheet Metal and CNC Machining divisions under one roof — allowing you to coordinate machining and fabrication with a single accountable partner.

Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication
Our fabrication side handles laser cutting, CNC punching, press-brake forming, shearing, and welding. Designed for volume, consistency, and structural integrity across steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. A specialty of ours: electronic chassis and rack-mount equipment where hole placement, flatness, and finish quality matter at the assembly stage.
- —Laser cutting & CNC punching

CNC Precision Machining
Our machining center operates CNC vertical milling centers and CNC lathes, supported by manual mills and lathes for secondary operations. We machine cold rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and plastics — from single prototypes through recurring production releases — with first-article inspection and real-time job tracking throughout.

- —First-article inspection available
- —STEP, IGES, DXF files accepted

Institutional Knowledge You Cannot Buy New
Precision equipment is only as capable as the professionals operating it. At Mikron, our most important competitive advantage is tenure. People who have been here for decades have seen problems — and solved them — that newer shops have never encountered.
Two senior team members have been with Mikron for over 26 years. That continuity means accumulated process knowledge, customer familiarity, and quality instincts that come only with experience.
Several others carry 15 or more years of tenure. Across both shops, the depth of experience means your parts are handled by people who have seen the edge cases and know what right looks like.
The Mikron Standard
Honesty
We tell you what we can do and what we cannot. If a schedule is tight, we say so early. If a design has a manufacturability problem, we raise it before cutting metal. Straightforward communication is not a courtesy — it is how we protect your program.
Relationships
Our longest customer partnerships span more than 28 years. Those relationships exist because buyers can count on us to show up the same way every time — not just when it is convenient. We treat customers, vendors, and employees with the same standard of respect.
Accountability
If something is not right, we make it right. No excuses. This is not a slogan — it is the operating commitment that our long-term customers have verified over decades. You do not have to fight us for the resolution; it is already the expectation.
We will do right by the customer. If there is an issue, we make it right. No excuses.
A Documented Quality Process. Investing in Inspection.
Every job at Mikron moves through documented controls from order entry through shipment. First-article inspections, material certifications, and Certificates of Conformance are available on request for any program that requires them.
We continue to invest in inspection equipment to expand what we can verify in-house. That investment reflects the same commitment behind everything else at Mikron: we want to know the part is right before it leaves the building.
