Fabrication & Welding
Mikron's fabrication and welding department joins machined and formed components into finished weldments and assemblies. Our welders are certified to Mil-standards, including work in 6061 and 5052 aluminum alloys — materials common in electronic enclosures and defense hardware.
Welded fabrications are inspected under our ISO 9001:2015 quality system, and documentation such as material certifications and Certificates of Conformance is available on request.
Because welding sits alongside our machining and sheet-metal departments, complete fabrications can be produced under one roof, reducing hand-offs between suppliers and the risks that come with them.
Problems We Solve
- Welded aluminum fabrications requiring Mil-standard certified welders
- Weldments that combine machined, punched, and formed details
- Reducing multi-vendor hand-offs on fabricated assemblies
